I love doing a maternity shoot. It brings out the best of what photography is all about…capturing those days that are sacred and will never be repeated in the same way…weddings, pregnancies, babies. I think it’s why we love to photograph sunrises and sunsets too.
Anyways this shoot took place last weekend when the temperatures were approaching absolute zero, so we stayed indoors. Mom-to-be was gorgeous and so much fun to work with. She had loads of energy, even with her toddler…a precious little bundle of cuteness. I love her relaxed and contemplative expression in this photo. She seems comfortable and happy with her beautiful growing belly. Can’t wait to hear the news of the little one’s arrival.
